Click on the tab for Reports & Dashboards and select Create new report
Click on Create an Application Object
Select the object you want to create a report for.
Click on the button 'Create Report' on the right hand side.
Give your report a name.
Choose a location for this report
Complete the information section.
Put a check mark in the Automatically Refresh option which will enable you to apply any additional filters to your report. Think carefully before you do this as your data set may be very big and may take a long time and potentially time-out. When you reopen a saved report the chart section will be blank. Click on the 'Refresh' button to display the saved chart.
There is no auto-save so always save your report as you go. You can also Save and Exit if you are part-way through and wish to edit later.
From the Data view type dropdown you can select the type of report you want. Choose Pie.
Right away you can see without any filter settings there is too much information for this pie chart.
You now need to fill out the Settings Panel. There are information bubbles to describe each section.
By clicking x to remove a Group by you can remove location and choose another feature from the lookup.
Selecting the 'Drill Through' option will allow you to click on a segment in the pie chart to display a hyperlink to the records relating to this segment.
You can now access these records individually
You can click and drag items from the Data Source selection and drop them into the Drill Through box to also show these records.
You can select a chart specific name and also change the system palette type to Intelex Default of System palette to design your own. The palette icon is on the top row of icons above your chart.
You can choose to show legend, value labels and/or percent labels by checking or unchecking the relevant boxes.
If your report contains entries you would like to remove, you can set up some filters. Click on the funnel icon.
Select New Rule
In A) select the criteria you wish to filter by.
For example select Location. Choosing Specific location you will be able to select a single site or a region. If you select Americas for example the report will show every child location that sits under Americas.
Select And Below as the value to ensure all child locations are selected in the data. Once done you can select Apply.
Create as many filters as you need to. Selecting a country will filter all child locations within that country. When done click Apply. If this Filters panel is overlaying your Pie chart, click on the funnel icon and it will hide it.
