Open the Audit Management Module
If you are creating audits for your own facility only then use the Audits tab. The Audit Scheduler is for multiple location audits such as Round Robin tests for example. For a local audit, click on the Audits tab and click Add Entry.
Click on Select option to choose the location of the audit and then complete the other fields below.
Put a check mark against the desired location and choose Select
Choose the standard(s) that will apply to this audit and select a risk level.
If you want this audit to repeat each year for example then click on the Modify option and choose the frequency.
If you want the audit to be a one-off audit then do not choose Modify, but simply choose the start and end date as well as Lead Auditor. Only one Lead Auditor may be chosen. You will have the opportunity to add other auditors in the following steps.
Click Save to enable access to the next sections such as checklists and audit team members. The record will now appear in the 'Audits' tab.
Use the Attach Auditor option to pick the audit team members. Each chosen auditor will display and include their subject matter expertise and any qualifications. You should add as many auditors as necessary. You will be able to select these chosen auditors against any individual questions within your checklist(s).
You can now choose the checklist(s) to be used for this audit.
Put a check mark against each checklist you intend to use during the audit. If a checklist does not appear then you can, with appropriate roles, create your own. See help.
You can now select a team member for each checklist in the audit. Simply click in the blue area under Auditor to display the available list of auditors previously chosen for this audit. If the auditor does not display then you can save and go back to the auditor selection step and add the missing auditor. If they are not available to choose then request your local administrator to create an auditor to appear.
The version box will display other versions if available. In the example below it displays the Latest version as the one available so once the auditor is chosen you can put a check mark against each checklist and click the button Generate Questions. This will populate the checklist with the questions from the chosen version.
You can now click on Schedule to make move to the scheduled step
See the next article help slides for 'Conducting the Audit'.
