Location Filters

Add a Location Filter for an Object

You can only create a location filter for a parent object. If you don't see the field Location Bound on an object, it means it has a parent object, and you have to apply the filter to the parent. Open the Object and select Edit.

The example object below relates to the pick list for suppliers located in the Audit Mgt app. Open it.

The Location Filter determines what information the user is able to see. If a user has West Haven as their log in location, they will be able to see filters (such as the supplier lists) for their 1)Active location only, 2)Active Location and below, 3)Active location and above or 4)Active location, above and below. You need to set accordingly. If a user cannot see the supplier list for example, you may need to adjust this setting if the filters in question have been set as location bound.  Supplier lists are set at global.
